The New Forest Show is one of my favourite things in the entire year. The buzz of the Press Tent, the food trucks, the horse shows, the rucksack full of shortbread to take home for my Nan, it’s all SO awesome.
And this week was no different.
After social media enjoyed my ‘things you only see at the New Forest Show’ type posts, instead of the usual show report I decided to take this first event roundup a different route and share more of them here.

Five things you only see at The New Forest Show
1. Ferrets walking around the food tent
2. Muffins half the size of your head
3. People fishing in the middle of a field
4. A guy doing an epic front crawl in a hot tub (in front of a crowd too)
And my personal favourite…
5. Passive aggressive notes left in the baking tent
“Really sorry but the cake is undercooked, so I didn’t try it. (Sad face)”
